CARE SERVICES

Care Services are provided with the residents medical, physical and social well-being taken into account at that point in time. As these needs vary from time to time the support services need to be adjusted in line with these changes, in consultation with the residents advisers and the resident themselves. These needs can be as simple as providing a bed and meals or as special as a full personal care package.  We are able to offer many combinations of services to meet the individual residents requirements.

MOBILITY
Our minimum requirement is a resident must be able to get out of bed,  go to the toilet and be able to walk about 100 metre’s unaided. This unfortunately restricts people with limited mobility, but we are aware of the limitations of our facility.

FOOD
We are able to prepare special diets for residents with medical conditions such as diabetes, eating disorders, weight gain, weight loss, medical tests preparations and soft food, but any special items are to be provided by the resident.

PERSONAL HYGIENE
We try to guide our residents on the need to maintain personal hygiene, some requiring only the occasional prompt, others full supervision tailored to their individual needs.

ROOM SERVICE.
We encourage our residents to take responsibility for general appearance of their room, but we can offer a full cleaning service.

MEDICAL SUPERVISION
We offer a range of services from minor monitoring of appointments to full supervision of a clinical nature such as blood sugar levels, insulin injections,  P.R.N. and full medication supervision, post hospital wound care and temporary bed nursing.

GENERAL SUPERVISION
Greenmeadow Court is staffed 24hrs a day 7 days a week including all public holidays

ACTIVITIES

Our activities officer coordinates our program with the input of the residents. We have a residents meeting each month in which participation is encouraged, as by the comments we receive we are able to feel how our residents perceive their lifestyle at Greenmeadow Court and effect changes to the activity program.
