FACILITIES   Our facilities were built with central administration, dining, T.V. and activities, yet retain the necessary privacy of the bedrooms which are single or twin, all on ground level, each room having a sliding door opening onto the gardens.     There is a coin phone or the facility for a private phone in each bedroom should it be desired. Five meals are provided daily consisting of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.   GREENMEADOW COURT  IS A MODERN SUPERVISED SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION CENTRE with all Council and Fire Service approvals. It nestles in 2.5 acres of landscaped gardens, is on a main bus route, has immediate access to a shopping center next door (METROPOL), is handy to 3 major shopping centers, Carindale and Galaxy one way and Garden City the other. Swimming Pool and Council Library, golf club are all within a 3kls walk. We are handy to both the mainstream and newer evangelical Churches who have contact with our residents.   WE HAVE single and twin rooms, fully  carpeted,  with built in wardrobes and furnishings. Each room has its own key and has a locking sliding door leading into the garden area, insuring total individual privacy when required. Power points are in each room for items such as Television, VCRs, fans, radio and hot water jug. This promotes individuality and independence.   THERE IS  a main dining room where our chef prepares 5 meals each day- breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening dinner. There is a 28 day menu where no main meal is repeated over 28 days, and this is changed twice yearly to allow for winter-summer climate. Special meals are available for people who require them for medical reasons or tests, and a choice is available for people who do not like a particular item on the menu. This main room also acts as our concert and party area.   OUR  LIBRARY also doubles as a small group meeting place and twice weekly becomes a ladies hairdressing salon with all the associated chit chat and frivolity. It is also used by a number of residents for group watching of nighttime sports TV such as overseas tennis and cricket tests, with  more atmosphere watching in the company of others.   THE MAIN T.V…lounge is attached to our central section and has the smokers lounge to one side. A second dining room is also attached to this central area, for residents needing personal care, in fact a support within a support.   OUR ADMIN area consists of the office, Doctors Surgery, Clinic, Nursing station, medical section, waiting rooms and interview room, all needed for the day to day running of Greenmeadow Court.  We encourage our residents to use our administration area and they know there is always someone on duty in this vicinity.
